Seelie Queen: Donella Mac Bèiceartigh (Blair Payne)
Duration: Until replaced, by choice or by force
Governing form: Association of independent clans, representative council presided by monarch
Leniency: Merciful
Seelie Tenets:
Always deal fairly.
Never deal in iron.
Always repay kindnesses.
Never cause unwarranted harm.
Punishment:
Punishments at the highest level of organization are very lax, however further punishment is often enacted by the offending seelie's clan leader. There are no written punishments for offenses, however the precedent is typically this:
First offense: Warning
Second offense: Close monitoring
Third offense: House arrest
Seelie Great Hall:
The Seelie Court often convenes in the Pastry Queen, the bakery owned by Blair Payne, after closing time. In fact, all of the employees of the joint bakery and coffee-shop are immediate followers of the Seelie Queen herself. The Court convenes every Sunday, but seelie folk are always welcome to lounge around in the shop. However because the store also serves non-fae, there is a strict rule to not mention courtly affairs during business hours.
The shop sits on the corner of the street, with floor-to-roof windows on both sides of the street and glass double-doors at the corner. Inside, the shop opens up into a large lounge area with a number of couches around coffee tables and wooden tables with wooden chairs. The room has an earthy feel, with browns and greens dominating. The lounge seats sixty comfortably. After the lounge is a long glass counter, the left side is populated by pastries, cookies, cakes and pies. From the counter, the entire kitchen can be seen, as well as a number of pastry chefs and bakers. A barista mans the counter and the coffee machines that sit just behind it.
